Competitive Teams

This team is intended for climbers who are interested in competition climbing but lack the experience to join the performance team. This class will be focused on learning competition skills and strategies, climbing movement, and developing the emotional regulation to perform in a high-pressure environment. 

This is the first step to competition training, with the possibility of moving up to performance team when age or experience meet the requirements. 

We ask all climbers looking to join the development team to join us a for a month of classes as we cover a variety of skills and competition types. At the end of your trial month, the coaches will reach out to you by email to discuss next steps. If you’re interested in development team, please contact us.

• 2 hour class
• Minimum 5 kids; Maximum 12 kids
• $325 + tax per month 
• Runs September - June

Schedule:

• Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm-7:30pm

Cost Includes:

· Membership with active team fees paid

· Rental Gear at Reach (does not include rental gear at competition)

· Fees for youth mock competitions hosted at Reach

· Coaching at OCF competitions

Ages: 

· Youngest: born in 2017

· Oldest: born in 2013

While we have taken kids younger than the listed ages, that is the earliest age that kids can attend provincial competitions so we generally recommend recreational lessons as a first step. If you have completed a session of recreational lessons here or at another gym, please reach out so we can discuss options for your child. 

This team is intended for climbers who have experience competing and are looking to improve their skills in a fun, supportive and engaging environment. While the team practices at the same time regardless of age, the class itself is split into U13/15 athletes and U17/19 athletes so that skill development is focused on the format of competition that each category will experience.  

We ask all climbers looking to join the performance team to join us a for a month of classes as we cover a variety of skills and competition types. Schedule:

• Monday and Wednesday 5:00pm - 8:00pm
• Saturdays 10:00am – 1:00pm (except weekends with OCF competitions)

Pricing Structure:

• 3 days a week: $375 + tax per month
• 2 days a week: $350 + tax per month

· Fees for youth mock competitions hosted at Reach

· Coaching at OCF competitions

Ages:

· Youngest: born in 2013

· Oldest: born in 2009

This team is intended for adult climbers looking to compete in provincial and recreational events. Coached sessions will cover competition and climbing skills, as well as the skills to create your own training outside of the session. 

Schedule:

• Fridays 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Pricing:

• $225 + tax per month

• Rental gear at Reach (does not include rental gear at competition)
• Fees for Friday Night Onsight events
• Coaching at OCF Competitions
• Coaching at select recreational competitions
